Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, at Puy-deDomme, France on the 9th of August 1976. She is the oldest child among four children. At a young age, her dentist surgeon parents and her teacher mother encouraged her passion of theater and drama. It was this love that trumps her first desire to become a the first primatologist. The actress became famous as a child actress quickly and enjoyed huge achievement. When she finished her education She was a part of the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers that was sponsored by Canal+. She won the award for the best young Actress award at Beziers Festival of Young Actors in the year 2000. She then began a career as an actress. Tautou studied at Institut Catholique de Paris, attended church in her youth and was educated Catholic. She has now distanced herself with the Catholic tradition. Alongside her acting profession, she has is also pursuing modelling. She modelled for L'Oreal Mont Blanc, Chanel and is known as "The Chanel Muse". Apart from her acting career, she has an interest in photography. She recently exhibited some of her photographs in Arles Film Festival. Arles Film Festival with the name Superficial. The focus of her photography is famous people, the media and press that scrutinised her following her rise to fame as Amelie. There are also several photographs that show her self. Audrey Tautou became a star and gained international recognition with her role debut as Amelie Poulain in Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie. Amelie gained international attention due to its success at the box office. The film was also recognized in award ceremonies all over the globe. The film is still the most successful French film on the market in US. The film's success brought Tautou into a wide range of roles, ranging from British dramas such as Dirty Pretty Things by Stephen Knight and Jean Pierre Jeunet to Hollywood's The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
